    • Product description

The Bourton Country Shoe is a piece of Northampton shoemaking history, with the heavy wingtip design, pinked edges and bold brogue punching that define the classic Tricker’s country brogue. Made on our 4444 last in a 5 width fitting, it has a wide tread, roomy toe box and traditionally generous fit, with most customers dropping down half a size.

In Whiskey Hydro Nubuck, the Bourton takes on a warmer, more relaxed character. The calf leather is gently buffed for a soft, velvety surface, then treated during tanning so water beads away rather than soaking in, helping to resist wet weather, everyday marks and stains. Its golden-tan tone adds depth to the brogue detailing and pairs naturally with denim, canvas, corduroy and heavier cotton trousers.

Each pair of Bourton brogues is handmade in our Northampton factory in England by skilled craftspeople using traditional methods, and to the same exacting standards that first established our reputation. Built with a Goodyear storm welt and finished on a British-made Dainite rubber sole, it offers durability, added water resistance, resoling potential and reliable grip without the bulk of a heavier tread.
